is April 16, 2004. To sign up for exams on computer, log
in to your Webmail account click on the Web for Students
link and then follow the appropriate links to the computer
exam registration page. Make your selection and press "Submit

for you. After April 16, 2004, your final exam schedule,
with the administration method, will be e-mailed to you.
Please note: Signing up is not a guarantee that you will
be able to take your exam on computer. We are limited in
the number of exams we can administer on computer. Due to
limited space in classrooms and computer labs, you may be
scheduled to take a "laptop" exam in a computer
lab. You will be notified after the sign up deadline as
to the status of your request and the location of your exams.
Lab Computer Users: Although the program is simple to use,
please spend a few minutes reviewing the online tutorial
at: http://www.kentlaw.edu/clc/examsoft/softtest.shtml In
addition, you may run the practice version from any lab
computer (go to Start, Programs, SofTest, Softest; then
click on the Practice button on the lower right of the screen).
Laptop Users: All students using laptops must install the
new version of the ExamSoft software prior to final exams.
If you have used the software previously, you must uninstall
the old version and install the new version! Please see
the FAQ document on ExamSoft's Web site if you have questions
about this process - http://220.127.116.11/faq/faq.htm
Please make sure that your computer is properly configured
to access the Chicago-Kent LAN and that the ExamSoft registration/qualification
process has been completed prior to your final exams. Students
with computers that are not properly configured, not registered,
or experiencing technical difficulties will be given blue
books and will write their final exams. No exceptions to
this policy will be made. Additionally, to avoid any technical
or computer difficulties, please make sure you bring the
following items with you to the exam. ExamSoft Registration

Exam Conflicts/Reschedule Requests - April 16, 2004
Students who believe that they have an exam conflict should
consult the following excerpt from the Chicago-Kent Student
§ 7.2 Exam Schedule and Conflicts
The examination schedule is published with the class schedule
before registration each semester. All students must take
their examinations at the scheduled time, except as provided
herein and in §§ 7.3 and 7.4. If a student registers for
two courses with examinations scheduled at the same time,
one examination will be rescheduled for the same day at
a different hour, or for Evening Division students, within
24 hours. If a final exam is to be rescheduled, a Final
Exam Reschedule form must be completed and submitted to
the Registrar. In addition, the student must sign an Affirmation
of Nondisclosure stating that he/she has not and will not
communicate with anyone about any aspect of the examination.
A student will be deemed to have a conflict if he or she
has three exams scheduled consecutively. A conflict does
not exist if two exams are scheduled on the same day, but
at different hours.
If you believe that you meet the requirements set forth
above, you should submit an exam reschedule request using
the Chicago-Kent Web-for-Students. To access the request
form, on the Chicago-Kent Web-for-Students, log on to your
webmail account (http://webmail.kentlaw.edu), click on the
icon in the lower right corner of the menu bar, and navigate
to the online forms section of the Web-for-Students.
