Academic Empowerment Program - Student Forum
I would like to thank all of you who participated in the Fall Semester Getting Started Workshops. The workshops were a great success thanks, in part, to the dedication and work of the students who attended.
I am also happy to announce that Professor Michelle Baker-Richardson has taken the helm of our first year program. Beginning early in the Fall Semester, Professor Richardson started working on what has evolved into the Academic Empowerment Program.
Both Professor Richardson and I are looking forward to
introducing you to the Academic Empowerment Program. If you have
questions regarding the changes to the program, please join us for a question
and answer session. The session will be held Tuesday, January 26,
1999 at Noon and 5:00 p.m. in room 580. If you have questions, and
are unable to make the session, please fell free to contact Professor
Richardson or Chris Matheny.

We are seeking volunteers to assist with this year's program.
Volunteers are needed to serve as shepherds and guides for our panelists
