If you are interested in being a Teaching
Assistant for a first-year class next semester, please submit
an application by November 25, 2003. A complete application
includes an application form, unofficial transcript, and
a recent resume. You can find information about job responsibilities,
grade requirements, compensation, and application forms

Application forms are also available on the table near the
3rd floor elevators.
We are hiring Teaching Assistants for Civil Procedure (Profs.

Don't Miss Preparing for and
Taking Exams.
ASP presents the next installment of the Getting Started
Series. Come and hear suggestions from faculty, administrators,
and students about how to survive and succeed on your final
exams. Valuable handouts will also be distributed. This
program will take place on November 11, at 5:00 in room
C50 and November 12, at 3:00 in the auditorium.
Preparing for and Taking Exams is open to everyone.
Possible Religious Conflict with
July Bar Exam.
The Illinois bar examination is scheduled
for July 27 and 28, 2004. The Jewish holiday Tisha B'Av
falls on July 27, 2004. All applicants whose ability to
write the July 2004 bar examination will be affected by
this holiday should notify the Illinois Board of Admissions
to the Bar in writing no later than December 1, 2003. Your
letter should be directed to Larie Walton and either mailed
to the Board offices at 625 South College Street, Springfield,
IL 62704 or faxed to (217) 522-9327; -9341; -6589; or -3728
ABA Mentor Program for Students
with Disabilities.
Chicago-Kent is partnering with the American
Bar Association Commission on Mental and Physical Disability
Law to provide a mentor program for law students with disabilities.
Interested law students are paired with attorneys based
on students' interests and other relevant factors. Mentors
provide both academic and career advice and help students
start developing a professional network. The mentor program
is open to law students with all types of disabilities,
including learning disabilities. If you are interested in
