Illinois Bar Admissions Presentation
for 3Ls and 4Ls
This is your chance to have all your questions
about bar applications and bar admissions answered! Representatives
from the Illinois Board of Admissions to the Bar will present
information about the application process, deadlines, and
filing fees. They will also explain and answer your questions
about the character and fitness portion of the application.
You should download and look over the application materials
available at www.ibaby.org
before coming to this program.
Please attend on Wednesday, November 17, at 3:00-4:00pm
or 5:00-6:00pm in Room 590.
Course Selection Seminar for Evening
Join the Evening Law Students for an informative
talk about choosing classes in law school to better help
prepare you to take the bar exam and practice law. Please
attend this program on Thursday, November 18, at 5:00pm
in Room 345. Food will be served. Contact Eric

Spring 2005 ASP TA Applications
Due by Friday
If you are interested in being a Teaching Assistant for
a first-year class next semester, please submit an application
by November 19, 2004. A complete application includes an
application form, unofficial transcript, and a recent resume.
You can find information about job responsibilities, grade

Application forms are also available on the table near the
3rd floor elevators.
We are hiring Teaching Assistants for Civil Procedure (Profs.
Laser, Marder, Steinman, Stewart), Justice (Profs. Malin,
Sowle, Warner, Wright), Property (Profs. Baker, Bosselman,
Hamilton, Holbrook, Perritt), and Contracts (Prof. Rosen).

Deadline for Exam Reschedule Forms
If you have an exam conflict as defined
by the Student
Handbook in sections 7.2
then you must complete an exam reschedule form located on
Kent's Web for Students at https://webmail.kentlaw.edu/exchange/logon.asp.
These forms are due by November 19, 2004. Exam conflicts
for extraordinary reasons beyond the control of the student
(other than conflicts arising from having two exams at the
same time or three consecutive exams as defined in section

Handouts and Video from the ASP
Exam Taking Program
If you missed Preparing for and Taking
Exams, you can still get copies of the handouts. Handout
packets are available on the table near the third floor
elevators and in the Student Services Office, room 310F.
Most pages of the packet can also be found on the ASP
website. Video tapes of the programs will be available
in the Student Services Office at the end of the week.
