Important Bar Program for 3Ls and
This is your chance to have all your questions
about bar applications and bar admissions answered! Representatives
from the Illinois Board of Admissions to the Bar will present
information about the application process, deadlines, and
filing fees. They will also explain and answer your questions
about the character and fitness portion of the application.
You should download and look over the application materials
available at www.ibaby.org
before coming to this program. Please attend on Wednesday,
November 16, at 3:00-4:00pm or 5:00-6:00pm in Room C50.
Spring 2006 ASP TA Applications
Due by Friday
If you are interested in being a Teaching
Assistant for a first-year class next semester, please submit
an application by November 18, 2005. A complete application
includes an application form, unofficial transcript, and
a recent resume. You can find more information about job
responsibilities, grade requirements, compensation, and

We are hiring Teaching Assistants for Civil Procedure (Profs.
Marder, Laser, Steinman), Property (Profs. Hamilton, Harding,
Perritt, Atuahene), and Contracts (Prof. Warner).

Handouts from ASP Exam Program Available
If you missed last week's Preparing for and Taking Exams,
you can get copies of the handouts on the ASP
website. The handouts available online include: Do's
and Don't of Exam Preparation, Do's and Don'ts
of Exam Taking, Multiple Choice Test Strategies, Getting
Answers to Exam Questions, and Sample Study Schedules &
Calendars. Videos of this program are available in
the Office of Student Services, room 310A.
Need Another Excuse to Procrastinate
in the Library?
Stop by the Library this week and pick up
your copy of the Brain Teasers available at the Circulation
Desk. If you solve any of the puzzles, write your answers
on the posters near the stairs. Answers to the puzzles will
be posted in next week's Record.
2L Evening Student Volunteers Needed
We are looking for 2L evening students who
are interested in assisting with fire evacuation procedures
in the evenings. We will provide training for volunteers
so you feel confident in directing your classmates in case
of an emergency. The time commitment is minimal, and your
help will be greatly appreciated. If you are interested,
