Carson Block
Carson Block received his BS in Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business of the University of Southern California and his J.D. with High Honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
He is currently a non- practicing attorney based in Shanghai China where the company he founded is pioneering self storage in China. Carson is also the founder and owner of ChinaPrimer.com Ltd (www.chinaprimer.com) which helps enterprises save money and minimize risks when entering China. Prior to founding ChinaPrimer.com, he co-authored the popular book, Doing Business in China for Dummies (Wiley 2007) and practiced law in Shanghai for Jones Day and advised the Shanghai 2010 World Expo Committee on sponsorship agreements. Prior to becoming an attorney, Carson was a partner in a Los Angeles-based equity research boutique, W.A.B. Capital and worked in corporate finance for CIBC World Markets.
