Rachel Moran
Rachel Moran is an Assistant Appellate Defender at the Office of the State Appellate Defender, handling appeals for indigent criminal defendants. Prior to joining OSAD, she worked as a criminal defense trial attorney. As a student at Chicago-Kent, Rachel won the National Moot Court Competition and was honored by the American College of Trial Lawyers as the National Best Advocate; she also won the National Ethics Trial Competition and was named Best Advocate in that competition as well. Rachel was a member of the Chicago-Kent Law Review and served as a teaching assistant for Criminal Law and Legal Writing I and II. She currently serves as a coach for the Chicago-Kent Trial Advocacy Team.
