Adjunct Faculty Biographies

Igor Osyka


Igor Osyka is a graduate of the National University of Internal Affairs in Kharkiv, Ukraine; he also holds an LL.M. degree from Chicago-Kent and PhD degree in Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Forensic Sciences from the National University of Internal Affairs in Kharkiv, Ukraine. He worked with the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative in Ukraine, located in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Mr. Osyka lectured at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Kharkiv Law and Economy University. Mr. Osyka has extensive experience in working with International Technical Assistance Projects implemented in Ukraine. In particular he served as a key expert on legislation and training in "Ukrainian Judiciary Functioning Project: civil service component" sponsored by the European Union and implemented by WYG led Consortium; and as liaison manager and expert in "Combating Corruption in Ukraine" Project implemented by Justice Canada and Institute of Applied Humanitarian Research (Kharkiv, Ukraine) providing support to the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine in development and implementation of the anti corruption policy in Ukraine.  

Mr. Osyka works as senior lecture at Kharkiv Law and Economy University in Kharkiv, Ukraine.
