Adjunct Faculty Biographies

Dariusz Sielicki

Dariusz Sielicki received a degree in Law from the University of Wroclaw, Poland in 1989. After completing a judicial apprenticeship at the Appellate Court of Wroclaw, he was appointed a judge of the District Court of Trzebnica. In 1996, he was appointed a judge of the District Court of Wroclaw Śródmieście. Since 2003, he hears criminal cases in the Circuit Court of Wroclaw.

His academic interests focus on cybercrime and modern technologies used in courts. Besides his judicial duties he presently works for the Ministry of Justice as an expert on implementation of IT into Polish court system.

He is a PhD candidate. He teaches occasionally at Law Faculty of the University of Wroclaw postgraduate studies.

He was the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship; from 1998-99 he studied the American Legal System and was awarded a Master in Law (LLM) from Marshall–Wythe School of Law of the College of William & Mary ( Virginia, USA). Thereafter, he completed an internship in the civil litigation division of the Office of the Attorney General of Illinois in Chicago.
