CALI offers a number of online exercises and tutorials for Civil Procedure that you might want to look at. You can access the CALI lessons for Civil Procedure at http://www2.cali.org/index.php?fuseaction=lessons.subjectlist&cat=civ . Once there, choose a lesson and follow the instructions.

The following exercises are relevant. Again, these are exercises that you might want to look at, at some point (for the most part, later in the course):

  • Jurisdiction Over the Person
  • Analysis of a Diversity Jurisdiction Case (though it is described as designed to help train students in the analysis of judicial opinions)
  • Jurisdiction and Venue
  • Waiver Under Rule 12
  • Demurrers and Judgments
  • Buffalo Creek: A Game of Discovery
  • Randolph County: another Game of Discovery
  • Woburn: yet another Game of Discovery
  • "An Exercise in Civil Procedure" - though this probably relates both to material we will cover and to some that we will not cover
  • Summary Judgment
