American Studies Program began in 1998 as a joint project of Project
Poland and the Catholic University of Lublin. Information is available
program equips students to take a leading role in the development
of Polish law and enables them to deal effectively with international
commercial law issues. It produces lawyers and professionals who
understand interrelations among Polish, American, and international
faculty consists of Chicago-Kent professors who travel to Lublin
to teach one to two week intensive courses in selected subjects.
Prestigious Polish law professors also teach in the program as well
as prominent American lawyers working in Poland. Study at Chicago-Kent
Polish students may also spend one or two semesters at Chicago-Kent
in the LLM program. In addition, students learn how to use technology
to improve the practice of law.
the support and cooperation of Telekomunikacja Polska SA, Chicago-Kent
and The Catholic University of Lublin have implemented an innovative
a “distance learning” component in the program. This component uses
video conferencing and the Internet to allow faculty in Chicago
to teach students in Lublin.
