IN MEMORIAM:
THE HONORABLE
ABRAHAM LINCOLN MAROVITZ '25

Chicago-Kent is deeply saddened by the loss of a beloved member of the law school and the legal community. Judge Marovitz had a stellar career as a trial lawyer, prosecutor, state senator, and state and federal judge. Judge Marovitz will always remain an invaluable part of the Chicago-Kent family and a shining light in our history.

I visited him at his home just a few weeks ago, and he reiterated his belief that he had spent his life trying to make a difference in other people's lives. He did. He made a difference in mine.

I will always remember his committment to Chicago-Kent and his willingness to take time to visit the law school and to talk to students about the profession he loved. We will miss him.

Henry H. Perritt, Jr.
