Biographical Information:

Dorislee Jackson is a Felony Prosecutor with the Louisville Prosecutor's Office. Prior to returning to Kentucky, Ms. Jackson clerked for the Honorable Margaret Stanton McBride of the Illinois Appellate Court and worked as a bankruptcy and litigation associate at Arnstein & Lehr. She also previously clerked for the Honorable James Keller of the Kentucky Supreme Court.

Ms. Jackson received her Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies from the Whitney Young Honors College at Kentucky State University, where she received such honors as Student Government Association Volunteer of the Year and Outstanding Senior Thesis. At Chicago-Kent, she was a member of the national trial advocacy team, which she now coaches. She was also actively involved with the Student Bar Association, the Kent Justice Foundation, and the Chicago-Kent Advocates.

While in Chicago Ms. Jackson served as co-chair to the Chicago Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section Creative Arts Committee, was a member of the editorial staff of the Illinois State Bar Journal, and volunteered with Recordings for the Blind & Dyslexic. She was also a member of the New Millennium Theatre Company and appeared in local theatre performances.
