Biographical Information:
Rebecca Graines graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor,
with a BA in psychology. Ms. Graines conducted research regarding genetic
predispositions to environmental carcinogens in the workplace for Professor
Tarlock at Chicago-Kent. The summer after her first year at Kent, she
worked for the Illinois Attorney General in the Health Care Bureau mediating
claims between Illinois consumers, their health care providers, and their
insurance companies. She was a teaching assistant for legal writing and
a Notes and Comments Editor for the Chicago-Kent Law Review. Ms. Graines
was also a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Gottschall in the Northern
District of Illinois.
Ms. Graines recently left Jones, Day, Reavis,
and Pogue to spend more time with her two small children. In 2005, she returned to Chicago-Kent as an adjunct in the legal writing program.
