Biographical Information:
Born and raised in southern China, Mr. Wu went to great distances, literally,
to pursue a career in international law practice. He received a L.L.B.
from the University of International Relations in Beijing, a M.A. in international
economic affairs from George Washington University (Elliott School) in
Washington, D.C., and a J.D. from Chicago-Kent with honors and a certificate
in intellectual property. While in law school, Mr. Wu served as a research
assistant to Professor Graeme Dinwoodie, a judicial extern to the honorable
Magistrate Judge Edward A. Bobrick of the Northern District of Illinois,
and an associate at the Illinois Technology Center for Law and the Public
Interest. He is also an alumnus of the Thomas Tang National Moot Court
Competition and Lefkowitz National Trademark Moot Court Competition.
Mr. Wu joined LinkLaters Hong Kong in 2007. He was previously an attorney at the Chicago firm of Young, Rosen, Finkel
and Silbert, and Haiwen, a Chinese law firm, working on foreign direct investments in China. He passed the New
York bar in 2003 and will be admitted in January 2004.
