Michelle Chesebro

Chicago-Kent Honors Scholar
Class of 2007  

Biographical Information

Ms. Chesebro received her B.S. in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1998.  Prior to starting at Chicago-Kent, she worked as a software testing engineer for Lucent Technologies in Naperville, IL, where she was an active member in a group for employees with disabilities, and also served on a company diversity committee for several years.

Ms. Chesebro completed a certificate in the Program for Environmental and Energy Law while at Chicago-Kent.  She was also a member of both the Environmental Law Society and the Kent Justice Foundation, and served as a co-chair for the KJF auction in 2006. She received the Dean’s Certificate of Service for completing 50 hours of volunteer work during her first year at Chicago-Kent. Her interests include environmental law, civil rights, and other public interest law.  Ms. Chesebro is currently working as a law clerk for Justice Michael J. Gallagher in the Illinois Appellate Court.
