Molly Brooks

Chicago-Kent Honors Scholar
Class of 2009

Biographical Information

Ms. Brooks graduated in 2006 from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with majors in Business, Economics and Public Policy (BEPP) and International Studies and minors in Spanish and Leadership, Ethics, and Social Action (LESA). Ms. Brooks was a Kelley Scholar, Chancellor Scholar, Mitte Business Honors Program participant, and recipient of the Elvis J. Stahr Senior Service Award. While at Indiana University, she worked as a teaching assistant and peer instructor. She was also actively involved in volunteer programs, including the Alternative Spring Break Program, of which she served as President for two years. 

At Chicago-Kent, Ms. Brooks participated in Law Review and the Women-in-Law Society. During the summer of 2007, Ms. Brooks served as an extern for Judge Goldberg in the Commercial Law Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County and as a law clerk for a solo practitioner in the areas of real estate and immigration. During the summer of 2008, Ms. Brooks worked as a summer associate at Sidley Austin LLP in Chicago, and she has accepted an offer to work there after graduation. In her free time, Ms. Brooks loves exploring Chicago, dancing, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
