Biographical Information:
Julia Riedel is originally from St. Louis, MO. She moved to the Chicago area in 1998 to attend Northwestern University, where she got her degree in theatre in 2002. Since then, she has lived in Chicago and worked as an actor and real estate agent before starting at Chicago-Kent. As an actor, she worked with the About Face Theatre, Alphabet Soup Theatre, Those Funny Little People, and did improv at IO (formerly ImprovOlympic) and The Playground. Her day jobs included teaching standardized test prep for the Princeton Review, teaching theatre at the Maywood Fine Arts Center, and working in the front-of-house staff at Victory Gardens Theatre.
Julia's legal interests include constitutional law, legal philosophy, procedure, appellate advocacy, and litigation. She externed this last summer for the Hon. George W. Lindberg, in the Northern District of Illinois, and is a member of the Moot Court Honor Society.
