Paul Forster

Chicago-Kent Honors Scholar
Class of 2010

Biographical Information:

Paul Forster hails from Bismarck, North Dakota.  He attended college at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington and studied abroad at New College, Oxford University.  He graduated summa cum laude from Gonzaga’s Honors Program in 2006, with majors in mathematics and history.  Between college and law school, he worked briefly as a logic analyst for Critical Logic, Inc., a software testing firm.

While at Chicago-Kent, Paul has externed for two federal judges, Honorable Richard Cudahy of the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and Honorable Rebecca Pallmeyer of the Northern District of Illinois.  He also worked for a semester in Chicago-Kent's Criminal Defense Clinic.  Now in his final year at Kent, Paul is the Executive Editor of the Seventh Circuit Review and a Notes and Comments Editor for the Chicago-Kent Law Review.  After graduation, he plans to serve a one-year clerkship for the Honorable Morton Denlow of the Northern District of Illinois before joining the Chicago office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.  In his free time, Paul enjoys home brewing, running, and spending time with his wife.
