Abstract

This article reviews the employment law decisions handed down by the Supreme Court during its 1997 Term.  The review includes only those employment law decisions involving individual employee rights; it does not include cases involving the collective rights of employees.  Among the individual employee rights cases included are employer liability for sexual harassment by agents of employers, same-sex harassment, and the Court's first case arising under the American with Disabilities Act.
