Study Abroad Fair

Join the Office of International Law and Policy to
learn more about Study Abroad opportunities through
Chicago-Kent College of Law. We will specifically
focus on our exchange program with the University
of Metz, France that allows students to study (in
English language) in France for the Spring Semester
2007 and work at a French internship for the summer.
Current Metz students visiting Chicago-Kent will be
in attendance. Light refreshments will be served.
Council on Foreign Relations Academic Conference
Call Series
This fall Dean Lydia Lazar will host Chicago-Kent
students in a series of hour long conference calls
with scholars and experts in pressing foreign policy
issues. After speaking briefly about the selected
topic, the foreign affairs expert will answer student
questions. Students interested in participating in
these conference calls should RSVP to Sarah Gillooly

Textbooks
The
Circle of Legal Studies, Jatinangor City, Indonesia
is seeking donations of law books. As the nation is
in transition to democracy, the group would like to
participate in promoting equality before the law in
their country. The Circle for Legal Studies meets
to discuss and explore various issues in Law; however,
there is a shortage of Law books in Indonesia.

International Internship Program
The
ABA Section of International Law offers an International
Internship Website. Moeller & Co. is an Argentine
law firm specialized and dedicated to provide legal
advise for intellectual and industrial property matters
throughout Latin America, which includes Mexico and
Central America. Moeller & Co. would be delighted
to have 2L and recent graduates from Chicago-Kent. This
internship provides placements in law firms oversears
