Chicago-Kent Order of the Coif chapter inducts 32 new members
Spring 2008 graduates selected were among the top 10 percent of their class
CHICAGO–October 31, 2008–-The Chicago-Kent College of Law chapter of the Order of the Coif today inducted 32 new members during award ceremonies at the Hotel Allegro. The Order of the Coif is a national legal honor society that recognizes superior scholarship and promotes the ethical standards of the legal profession.
Chicago-Kent College of Law was unanimously elected to membership in the Order of the Coif in 1989. The law school faculty selects members from the top 10 percent of each graduating class. Professor Howard C. Eglit is president of the Chicago-Kent chapter.
The most recent honorees earned their Juris Doctor degrees from Chicago-Kent College of Law at the end of the spring 2008 semester. Inducted into the Order of the Coif were Frank H. Bieszczat, Todd C. Diede, Jennifer C. Erhard Rice, Jessica K. Fender, Anna B. Folgers, Schuyler D. Geller, Juli D. Gilliam, Adrienne K. Goss, Rachel S. Greene, Nikolai G. Guerra, William K. Hadler, Andrew F. Hettinga, Hunter Hogan, Jacob L. Kahn, Jonathan R. Kanter and Elizabeth C. Katzman. Also inducted were Rajeev Khurana, Dana E. Lobelle, Michael N. Loterstein, Rachel E. Moran, Jamie T. Newton, Bina B. Palnitkar, Benjamin D. Reichard, Kurt R. Rempe, Tyson B. Roan, Brett A. Saltzman, David A. Simon, Sarah F. Suma, Elena N. Vranas, Giles M. Walsh, Kristin M. Weber, and Lance E. Workman.
