Chicago-Kent to host "super regional" round of 2009 Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition
Student teams from 24 law schools will compete in the Midwest Super Regional Competition of the 2009 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition to be held February 12 to 15, 2009, at Chicago-Kent College of Law.
The Midwest Super Regional Competition is one of six qualifying events held around the country for U.S. law students to garner a spot in the Shearman & Sterling International Rounds of the competition, which will be held in Washington, D.C., in March 2009. Both the winner and the runner-up of each Super Regional Competition in the United States will advance to compete against teams from around the world in the championship Shearman & Sterling International Rounds.
