Swift is a false conflict because the court started with a conflict and 
then expressly negated that a conflict existed.  The court said that a 
bona fide holder of a negotiable instrument that takes it under 
indorsement made before it becomes due, still holds the title and can 
recover even if not possible against the antecedent parties.  The court 
said that this is a long well established doctrine that needs no 
explanation.
