ISBA Public Service Award nominations are due April 14.
The Illinois State Bar Association will honor a law student who has demonstrated outstanding participation in volunteer public service and extracurricular activities. The deadline for nominations is this Friday, April 14th. Download the nomination form here. Paper copies of the form are also available on the ISBA bulletin board, Concourse level (near the couches). The final award recipient will receive an all-expense paid trip to the ISBA Annual Meeting, including transportation and lodging.† This yearís award will be presented on June 16, 2006, at The Abbey on Lake Geneva in Fontana, Wisconsin. This year's award reception will take place on Monday, April 24, 2006, 5-6 PM, in the 10th floor Event Room. Join us in honoring students who have demonstrated a commitment to public service. Take a few moments to RSVP now so we can plan accordingly for food and drinks.
Turn in your timesheets.
Submit your volunteer hours so that they count toward the Chicago-Kent Certificate of Service or the Deanís Distinguished Public Service Award! Learn more about these awards. You can submit your hours online or drop them off at the office (Room 654). If no one is available when you stop by, just slide them under the door and we can add them to your file. In order to receive your award at the reception, turn in your hours by Monday, April 17th.
