Subscription information for the Wall Street Journal
Students, faculty and staff can obtain discounted subscriptions to the Wall Street Journal for:

One year = $88; 26 weeks = $45; 15 weeks = $29.

Use the sign-up sheet outside office 829 or e-mail Prof. Hablutzel (PHABLUTZ).

  • What duration of subscription you wish
  • Address you wish delivered to

Most Chicago-Kent people have it delivered to their home address; it arrives very early in the morning, usually about 4:00 or 5:00am. When the subscription begins, the newspaper will bill you directly. Similar discounts are available for Barron's and the Financial Times (see info on counter in the bookstore or outside office 829).

Research position
Prof. Krent is seeking a student interested in researching how presidents have exercised the pardon power and/or Congress' more contemporary efforts to enlarge an individual's standing to sue in federal courts. If intrigued, please send him a c.v. and e-mail, or drop by room 735.


From Professor Jeffrey Sherman

Student research assistants wanted
Professor Sherman is seeking several student research assistants to work on a project in the employee benefits area. Compensation will be at the usual law school rate. Students must have completed at least 3 semesters of law school by December 31, 1999. Interested students should submit a resume and a list of their law school grades so far to Professor Sherman, room 741.
