The Institute for Law and the Workplace invites you to attend a special colloquium commemorating the 35th anniversary of the equal Employment Opportunity Commission on Tuesday, November 14 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Chicago-Kent will host and co-sponsor the event with the EEOC.
The program will feature EEOC chair Ida L. Castro and a panel of community leaders who will reflect on the EEOC's first 35 years under the general theme, "Where we have come from, where we are going." The panel will include Professor Howard Eglit, discussing age discrimination, and Chicago-Kent alum Linda Mastandrea, discussing disability discrimination. The panel will also have speakers focusing on race, sex, national origina, as well as a representative of the plaintiffs' bar and the management bar.
The program will take place in room 590 and a reception will follow.
