From Professor Sanford Greenberg

Hearty congratulations to Chicago-Kent's Pamela Quigley and Max Stein, who won both the overall championship and best brief award at this weekend's National Moot Court Competition (Region 8). Max and Pam defeated teams from Notre Dame, Valparaiso, Northern Illinois, DePaul, and Loyola. The Chicago-Kent team thus earned the right to advance to the national run-offs of this prestigious appellate advocacy competition, which will be held in New York City.

Pam and Max's accomplishment marks the third year in a row that Chicago-Kent has sent a team to the national run-offs. Congratulations again to them and to their faculty adviser, Professor Kent Streseman. And thanks to all the faculty, alumnae/i, and students who judged the practice arguments.
