Professor Adams will be accepting applications for legal writing teaching assistant positions for the 2006-07 academic year. The deadline is Monday, April 3. Applicants should now be in their second year (day) or third year (evening) and have at least a 3.00 GPA and strong legal research and writing grades. Please submit your cover letter, resume, and grades for LRW 1 and 2 to Professor Susan Adams (electronically or in office 861). Interviews will begin during the second week in April. The job description may be picked up in paper form on the 3rd floor or in 861. Please give serious consideration for this very important and rewarding teaching opportunity.

Professor Lori Andrews, director of the nonprofit Institute for Science, Law and Technology (ISLAT) at Chicago-Kent, is hiring law students as research assistants for full-time, paid summer positions. ISLAT is undertaking numerous projects to investigate the legal and societal implications of emerging biotechnologies and nanotechnologies. Research assistants will be responsible for conducting research on a variety of topics, including intellectual property, as well as drafting memos and contributing to grant projects. Applicants must have strong writing and research skills. Applicants must submit a writing sample and resume to Jennifer Keplinger in room 530.
