Professor Carolyn Shapiro is seeking research assistants to work 10 hours a week during the remainder of the semester (and next semester) and 20 - 35 hours a week during winter break. Primary duties will include coding Supreme Court cases for an empirical study, as well as additional research in legal scholarship and case law. Professor Ronald Staudt is seeking a research assistant to conduct research on the unauthorized practice of law, particularly with regard to technology and Internet applications. This research task is expected to take 40 - 50 hours of work throughout the semester. This position requires exemplary legal writing and researching skills.
