Congressman Roskam is a 1989 Chicago-Kent graduate. In 1993, he was elected to the Illinois House of Representatives, where he served six years. In 2000, he was appointed to the Illinois Senate and served in the leadership as the Republican Whip and Floor Leader. In November 2006, he was elected to Congress from the 6th District of Illinois. Rep. Roskam will talk about the agenda for the 110th Congress, his experience as an Illinois legislator and his time at Chicago-Kent.
