From Professor Nancy Marder
On Tuesday, January 31, from 3 to 3:55 p.m., Professor Harold Koh, our 2017 Centennial Speaker, will give a talk titled "Preserving the International Rule of Law in the Trump Administration." The talk, which will be in the auditorium, is open to faculty, students, alumni, and members of the public.
Professor Koh is a professor of international law at Yale Law School, where he also served as dean. Most recently, he served in the Obama Administration as a legal adviser to the State Department. He is an expert in international law, national security law, and human rights. He has a wide range of experience as an academic, a litigator, and a policy maker.
Professor Koh will take questions after the talk, and a reception will follow. You can register for the talk and your name will be entered in a raffle for Storming the Court, a book about Professor Koh's efforts to free Haitian refugees being held at Guantanamo.
