Headlines for the Weeks of June 6 & 13, 2016

Podcasts

Oyez has several podcasts through which you can listen to oral arguments and more.

  • Current cases
If you want to listen to current Supreme Court oral arguments right away, subscribe to our 2015 Term Oral Argument podcast. We release each week's arguments as soon as we get them on the Friday following arguments, which means they'll be available on your phone right away. Subscribe through iTunes or Stitcher.
  • So Ordered
Our new podcast, So Ordered, highlights famous historical cases related to major cases in the current Term, with some analysis from the Oyez team. We recently wrapped up our series on reproductive rights cases that led up to Whole Woman's Health, and previously focused on affirmative action cases that led up to Fisher. Subscribe through iTunes or Stitcher.

  • Recent cases
You can also find all oral arguments from terms going back to 2010 on iTunes and Stitcher. Download the whole term, or pick key cases that interest you.

Some suggestions to get you started: Obergefell from 2014, Aereo or Hobby Lobby from 2013, Myriad or Bowman from 2012, Miller or NFIB v. Sebelius from 2011, or Brown v. Entertainment Merchants Association from 2010.

2014 Opinion Announcements

Want to experience what it's like to be present in the courtroom for a major opinion? Listen to every opinion announcement from the previous term (including same-sex marriage, Obamacare, and lethal injection) in our podcast, available on iTunes.

Have you seen Oyez's new look?

Oyez was completely redesigned this fall to look and feel more modern. The case pages are cleaner and bigger, and the site is mobile responsive. The site is continuously updated as well, so new features are rolled out on a regular basis.
