Lawyers for the Creative Arts announce a new speakers series, the "Brown Bag Forum."

The Forum is a series of noon time programs and is designed to provide law students an opportunity to meet an entertainment attorney in a small group setting. The programs are designed so that students can ask the questions they really want to ask, yet never get an opportunity to ask. Students are encouraged to ask questions about the legal issues and business concerns of developing an entertainment practice.

Hosted by Lawyers for the Creative Arts and held at the DePaul University School of Law, each program starts at noon and is held at 25 East Jackson Blvd (at Wabash) in room 801. Refreshments are provided.

The schedule for the remainder of 1998 is:

October 1: Jerry Glover of WTTW/Channel 11 will talk about representing clients in television production and broadcast.

November 5: Mark Barinholtz, a sole practitioner who represents the writer of the Dreamworks films "Mouse Hunt" and "Small Soldiers" will discuss representing screenwriters in negotiations with major motion pictures studios.
