Institute for Law and the Humanities

Chicago-Kent's new Institute for Law and the Humanities is jointly sponsoring, with the Student Bar Association, a special program on the City of Chicago's lawsuit against the gun industry, City of Chicago v. Beretta U.S.A. Corp., on Wednesday, November 10, at 3:00 p.m. in the Richard B. Ogilvie Auditorium. Participants include Matthew M. Getter, assistant corporation counsel for the City of Chicago, and Anne Giddings Kimball, a partner at Wildman Harrold Allen & Dixon. The discussion will be moderated by Professor Sheldon Nahmod, co-director of the Institute for Law and the Humanities. A reception will follow in the main lobby. Human Resources expands hours at the Downtown Campus

A Human Resources staff member is available at the following times in room 447 of the Downtown Campus:

  • Tuesdays, 1:00 - 5:00 pm
  • Fridays, 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
The schedule of which HR staff member will be available on a given date is posted on the bulletin board outside the staff lounge on the third floor. Feel free to stop by room 447 for answers to any questions and to pick up or drop off benefits forms. If you prefer, call ext. 7-3318 to set up an appointment in advance.
