Emotion regulation study needs participants

Researchers in IIT's Department of Psychology are conducting a study to better understand how people regulate their emotions over time. If you participate, you will view pictures and report your responses to them. The study does not include treatment. Participation consists of a single, one-hour session in the Robert A. Pritzker Science Center on the Mies (Main) Campus.

We are looking for participants who are:

  • Women 18-50 years old and who were
  • Born and raised in the United States

If you are interested in participating in this study, complete a quick questionnaire here.

If you are selected to participate, you will be contacted by a researcher to schedule your one-hour session. Participants will be compensated $10 for completing the in-person session. Also, all participants will be entered into a $200 raffle to be drawn at the end of data collection (approximately April 2017).

If you have any questions, contact one of our researchers at erdynamics@iit.edu.
