The Corporate Law Society will hold an introductory meeting on Tuesday, August 29 at 12 noon. Look for fliers on the concourse level for room location. Everyone is welcome, especially 1Ls.

The International Moot Court Honor Society will be holding a candidacy competition early in the fall semester. Successful candidates will join teams formed for the internationally recognized Phillip C. Jessup competition, the Niagra competition, and other international competitions held throughout the United States and Europe. Moot Court participants will face complex international legal issues. Therefore, the introductory International Law course or the International Law Advanced Research course are a prerequisite for participation. The International Moot Court Honor Society provides students with the unparalleled opportunity to work closely with each team's faculty advisors while gaining valuable experience in an increasingly important area of the law. Further details regarding the candidacy problem and competition will be announced in upcoming issues of the Record. Students interested are encouraged to contact Carlin Metzger by e-mail at for more information.
