Hurricane relief party at Sound Bar

Phi Alpha Delta and the SBA are co-sponsoring a hurricane relief party with Northwestern University School of Law. The party is at Sound Bar, 226 W. Ontario Street. Come join us for $4 well vodka drinks from 9:00 -10:00 p.m. There will be a $5 cover charge that will be completely donated to hurricane relief efforts. Please arrive early and bring your friends. Each student ID gains admittance for one student and one guest. See you there!!

The Student Bar Association presents Work-a-Day Event: Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

We will be walking the race as a school.† We will have a table outside the Spak for people to sign up to participate in Team for Kent.† Faculty and students are encouraged to attend.†If you do not want to walk it, you still may sign up and receive a T-shirt.†

The Commentator is currently accepting articles for the first issue.†The deadline for submissions is Monday, September 19.†The first issue will be published during the first week of October.†

The Commentator accepts articles from all students, student groups and faculty.†Although students are encouraged to submit articles and opinion pieces on any topic, some†topic ideas relevant to the first issue might include: summer work experience, the Supreme Court vacancies, and personal stories regarding†Hurricane Katrina.†The Commentator is working hard to improve the paper and depends heavily on student writing and participation.
