Are you a student interested in environmental law? Do you want to participate in a fun and rewarding experience that will offer you the opportunity to hone your writing and oral argument skills? If so, you should consider participating in Chicago Kent's Environmental Law Moot Court.
The Environmental Law Moot Court team will represent Chicago-Kent at the 2007 Pace University National Moot Court Competition, held next February 22-24 in White Plains, New York. The problem becomes available in early October, briefs are due in early December and oral argument practices begin in January.
We are looking for a second-year student with a demonstrable interest in environmental law. If you are interested in participating, please e-mail the following information to Kristin Munsch and/or Derek Johnson at the addresses below on or before Wednesday, September 20. Interviews will be conducted during the week of September 25.
2. Writing sample (10 pages max.)
3. Name of your first-year legal writing professor along with LW1 and LW2 grades.
4. Fall 2006 semester class schedule.
5. List of any environmental classes you've taken or are currently enrolled in.
6. Any other relevant environmental or legal experience.
