Bake sale bonanza!

First, thank you bakers, sitters, and buyers for your support for the September bake sale. We raised over $200 dollars! Now, let's get ready for the October bake sale, which will be in recognition of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This will be happening in the next couple of weeks, so please check the WIL TWEN page for updated information.

Interested in attending Ms. JD's 3rd annual Conference on Women in Law?

From Friday, November 20, to Saturday, November 21, at Northwestern Law School, the Ms. JD conference will highlight different career paths available in the legal profession, the changing definitions of success, and the personal and professional infrastructure that best promotes retention and advancement of female attorneys.

This year, WIL will sponsor five students to attend the student workshops. If interested, please submit a personal statement on (i) why you want to go and (ii) why WIL should sponsor you. Please submit your personal statements on the WIL TWEN page by the end of October. Please see http://ms-jd.org/conference and the WIL TWEN page for more information.

Save the date for the Women in Law Mentorship Reception on November 5 at 5:30 p.m.

Lastly, just want to say THANK YOU to everyone for your involvement in the "Dress for Success" event and for those who participated in our service project this past weekend at the Ronald McDonald House. Please check the WIL TWEN page to stay updated on all our events!
