SBA approves amendment to Constitution and Finance Code Reform
Last night, the SBA voted to approve an amendment to the SBA Constitution which would provide for certain measures to be decided by electronic voting. This would mean that budgetary decisions can be decided throughout the year and need not wait until the SBA convenes the following month. View SBA Amendment resolution pdf.
Additionally, to make the budgeting process easier and more accessible to student organizations, the SBA also voted to approve an amendment to the Financial Codes. View SBA Financial Code resolution pdf.
Per the SBA Constitution, these amendments will not go into effect until one week's notice has been properly given to the student body. Please forward objections to these amendments to your SBA representative, or to the SBA Treasurer.
