We will be holding an Open Forum for all students on August 30 from 12 to 1 and again from 5 to 6. Both will be held in room C50. Please come share your thoughts, ideas, concerns and questions as to how the SBA can better serve you in the coming year. We will be addressing many different issues, so please come to share your thoughts...or just come to listen!
- Organization Orientation
ALL PRESIDENTS AND TREASURERS OF ALL STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS MUST ATTEND A MANDATORY ORIENTATION. This meeting will take place August 31 at 3 p.m. in room 520. If your president cannot attend, please send another representative who can reliably relay the information.
- Student Organization Fair
Please send a representative from your student organization to sit at a table at the Student Organization Fair. This year's fair will be held Tuesday, September 6, from 11 to 1 and again from 4 to 6 in the second and third floors. Please email the Secretary, Kirtana Kalavapudi, at email@example.com to sign up no later than Friday, September 2.
Elections will be held on Tuesday, September 6, and Wednesday, September 7, for 1L Representative positions. Please submit a candidate statement and SBA petition to Hazel Gumbs, Election Chair, by no later than Wednesday, August 31. Two representatives will be elected from each of the four 1L sections (A, B, C and Evening). Contact Hazel Gumbs (firstname.lastname@example.org) or me (email@example.com) with any questions.
Also, there are currently two vacant 2L Day Division Representative positions. Email your candidate statement to Hazel Gumbs to be considered. The General Assembly will elect the reps to fill the vacant positions pursuant to the SBA constitution.
