International Law Moot Court Honor Society
Seeking bailiffs for the Philip C. Jessup Moot Court Competition
If you are interested in either observing a moot court competition to prepare for oral arguments, or in developing your substantive knowledge of international law, consider bailiffing for the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Bailiffs keep time for one or more 90-minute oral argument rounds of the competition. The competition will be hosted at Chicago-Kent on February 10 to 12. Participation is voluntary but is an invaluable opportunity to observe oralists, network with alumni judges, and improve your own advocacy skills. If interested, please email email@example.com.
Journal of International and Comparative Law
Accepting Student Note submissions for spring 2012 publication
The Journal of International and Comparative Law is accepting articles from Chicago-Kent students for publication as Student Notes in the spring 2012 edition. We are looking for articles that are between 15 and 50 pages long (double-spaced), but the ideal length is around 20 to 25 pages. We will consider any topic as long as it analyzes an issue in international and/or comparative law.
We are happy to receive seminar papers from 3Ls who have just completed their seminar course. And we are also happy to accept articles from 3Ls, 2Ls and 1Ls who have written a similar type of research paper. We will likely be accepting two articles for publication.
Please email submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org (with subject line "Chicago-Kent Student Note Submission") by February 4, 2012, at 6 p.m.
If you have any questions please email email@example.com.
