Lambdas' first general meeting

The Chicago-Kent Lambdas student organization is dedicated to the promotion of equality and justice for LGBT people in the community. Our goal is to educate law students and the larger community concerning the legal issues that affect gay, lesbian and transgendered people.

Environmental Law Society

September 19: First ELS general meeting

New date and time: September 19, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in room 570. Come learn about ELS and what we have going on this year.

September 22: Beach clean-up

October 25: "Wildlife, Renewable Energy and Climate Change Critical Legal Issues"

From 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Chicago-Kent, the ISBA Animal Law Section Council, ISBA Environmental Law Section Council, and Chicago-Kent is throwing a CLE event to discuss critical environmental legal issues.

First general meetings

Our first general meetings will be held on Tuesday, September 18, from 8 to 9 p.m. in room C25, and on Wednesday, September 19, from 3 to 4 p.m. in room C20. We will be discussing our upcoming fundraising events, seeking out 1L representatives and media coordinators, and putting together our first Public Interest Happy Hour.

September 19: Women in Law's first general meeting!

Welcome back, everyone! Women in Law is having its first general meeting on September 19 at 3 p.m. (new date and time) in room 345. Come to our meeting for a free lunch and to learn more about what we do. We look forward to seeing our returning members and welcoming new members!

Come to Women in Law's first social of the year to get to know some other students, drink, eat and have fun!

Where: Bull & Bear, 431 N. Wells (about one block from the Merchandise Mart stop on the Brown/Purple lines)
