November 8: Chicago-Kent Law Review Symposium on Intragroup Dissent
The Chicago-Kent Law Review will be hosting its annual symposium on Friday, November 8, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the 10th floor event room. The symposium topic is intragroup dissent and will include four panels discussing group dynamics from the perspectives of race, gender, sexuality and place. Please join us as we explore what it means to dissent from within a trusted peer group. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

October 29: Child and Family Law Society presents Child Law Panel
The Child and Family Law Society will be hosting a law panel with some child law attorneys. The event will be on October 29 at noon in room 580. Feel free to come and hear about all the different careers you can have in the field of child law. RELS will hold its first jobs panel on Wednesday, October 30, from 3 to 4 p.m. in room 345. A panel of 2Ls and 3Ls will discuss the various work experiences they've had as students at Chicago-Kent and will share their job-hunting strategies. If you are interested in getting great advice from fellow students about working in real estate or land use law in the Chicago area, this event is for you!

October 31: Hot Chocolate Fundraiser
Sportsfeasors and Women in Law will be selling hot chocolate in the lobby on October 31 in conjunction with the Hot Chocolate 5K/15K (which is November 3)! Proceeds go to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities, which provide lodging for the families of sick children receiving medical care away from their hometowns. Sign up to run, or just stop by and enjoy some hot chocolate to support a good cause!
