November 14: Join us for our social at Par Bar
On Thursday, November 14, from 9 p.m. to midnight, the International Law Student Association welcomes everyone to our social at Par Bar at 160 N. Franklin St. The social is a $25 all-you-can-drink event. We are very excited to meet all J.D. and LL.M. students from Chicago-Kent and other schools and have a good time before the reality of finals sets in!

November 14: Presenting KJF's annual wine event, "Under a Sauvignon Sky"
The Kent Justice Foundation presents their annual wine event, "Under a Sauvignon Sky," Thursday, November 14, from 7 to 10 p.m. in the lobby.
Students, staff and alumni are invited to sample wine donated by Chicago-Kent staff and faculty and enjoy appetizers from local restaurants. Tickets will be on sale for $10 the week before the event, outside the third-floor Spak and in the bookstore. Tickets are $12 at the door. All proceeds benefit Chicago-Kent students working in unpaid governmental or nonprofit summer internships.

November 12: "Fashion, Esquire: How to Dress for the Job You Want"
Women in Law, the Student Bar Association and the Chicago-Kent Lamdas are co-hosting "Fashion, Esquire" in the Chicago-Kent lobby at 6 p.m. The event will discuss tips, tricks and how to get discounts from fashion consultants who will speak about dressing for the profession. There will also be a clothing drive for gently used business casual/professional attire in conjunction with the event.

Women in Law will be co-hosting an event with the Women's Bar Association of Illinois Young Lawyers Committee on November 21 at 6 p.m. The event will feature a panel with an appellate court justice and several law firm partners. Cocktail reception to follow.
