Federal Bar Association Chicago-Kent Law Student Division
Register now for "State of the Court and the State of the City"
The newly formed Federal Bar Association Chicago-Kent Law Student Division, in co-sponsorship with the Federal Bar Association Chicago Chapter, will be hosting "State of the Court and the State of the City." The Honorable Ruben Castillo, chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and Stephen Patton, corporation counsel for the City of Chicago, will each deliver their thoughts on the current state of their respective institutions.

Date and Time: Tuesday, March 25, at 4:30 p.m. (reception to follow in the lobby)

SELS and IPLS are co-hosting Brenda Robinson, a partner from Faegre Baker Daniels who focuses her practice on intellectual property, including copyright and trademark, and entertainment matters on behalf of clients in the music, film, television and sports industries.

March 27: Social to benefit PAWS Chicago
Women in Law, Sportfeasors and the Irish Society are teaming up to host a $25 drink special at Clarke's Bar in Lincoln Park on Thursday, March 27! The deal runs from 9 p.m. to midnight and includes all-you-can-drink well cocktails, wine and drafts of Buds, Coors and Millers.
All proceeds will benefit PAWS Chicago, the official charity of this year's Shamrock Shuffle. PAWS is a nonprofit dedicated to finding solutions to save and protect homeless pets in Chicago.
Come have some drinks to support those running the Shamrock Shuffle and donate to a good cause!
