The Sports & Entertainment Law Society and IPLS will co-host an event on Wednesday, October 29, at 3 p.m. in room C40. We have the pleasure of hosting Joseph Hylton, a professor at Marquette University and the University of Virginia and an expert in sports law. He will be speaking about his research on the "History of American Indian Team Names in American Sport," specifically about the controversy surrounding the Washington Redskins. Mr. Hylton has been interviewed on this topic by the New York Times Sunday Magazine and NPR and has appeared on MSNBC. This is a great opportunity to learn about a very interesting sports law and trademarks topic. We hope to see everyone there!
