Diversity Thursday Series

The SBA, along with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Multicultural Affairs and Professional Development and various student organizations, is introducing a "Diversity Thursday" series in an effort to celebrate the different cultures here at Chicago-Kent. Look out for our fliers!

March 2 to 7: Diversity Week

Seeking submissions for Student Art Gallery

The Art and Cultural Property Law Society is seeking artists of all genres to showcase their talent in the annual Student Art Gallery on April 2. For inquiries, email acpls@kentlaw.iit.edu.


Corporate Law Society

March 10: Alumni Career Panel and Reception

Time: 7 to 10 p.m.
Location: Chicago-Kent 10th Floor Morris Hall

Five Chicago-Kent alumni in various areas of corporate law will be speaking on a panel about how they worked toward their positions and what their day-to-day work lives look like. Join us for the panel event in order to ask questions and explore your own career choices. A reception will follow with open bar and catered buffet for the enjoyment of guests and speakers. Last year, this event resulted in a great deal of good advice and networking, including job opportunities for the attending students. This event is open to all students, regardless of preferred practice area or year in school.

 


Chicago-Kent Lambdas

March 4: Diversity Job Fairs: The 411

Join the Lambdas and the Career Services Office at our Diversity Week event, "Diversity Job Fairs: The 411," on Wednesday, March 4, from 3 to 4 p.m. in room 210. Learn about the many diversity job fairs available to Chicago-Kent students; get application, resume and interview tips from a partner at Littler Mendelson; and listen to students who have participated in diversity job fairs. Snacks and drinks will be provided.


Society of Women in Law

March 5: Coalition of Women's Initiatives presents "Success Strategies for Women Law Students: Being Your Own Advocate"

The Coalition of Women's Initiatives in Law invites you to attend its seventh annual law student event and networking reception. This year's event will include a panel discussion and Q&A session held in Ogilvie Auditorium, followed by a networking reception outside the auditorium with drinks and appetizers.

Panelists will lead a roundtable discussion with law students from Chicago-Kent, DePaul, Northwestern, Loyola, John Marshall and the University of Chicago.
