"First Look: Executive Power in the Trump Administration" discussion
Executive orders have rocketed into the spotlight in the opening weeks of Trump’s presidency. How did we get here and what lies ahead? Join ACS and Dean Harold J. Krent, author, of Presidential Powers, for a discussion about the source and extent of the President’s executive powers.
The First Look: Executive Power in the Trump Administration discussion, originally scheduled for February 28, will be moved due to a scheduling conflict. Please stay tuned for more details and excuse any inconvenience!

February 28: "How Will the Presidency Impact International Law?" panel discussion
Join APALSA & ILSA for a discussion on the new presidency and the future of international law! Featured speakers include Dr. James Nolt of NYU, Dean Edward Harris of Chicago-Kent, Professor Bartram Brown of Chicago-Kent! Topics to be discussed include travel ban and immigration issues (H1B, F1/J1, EB5), free market and trade war (especially between U.S. and China), conflict of interest of Trump’s business, human rights policy, nuclear and environmental issues, etc.

March 5: Annual Spring brunch
Please join the Chicago-Kent Society of Women in Law for our annual spring brunch! This year, brunch will be at Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba on Sunday, March 5 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
We are selling tickets for $25 on Monday (2/27), Tuesday (2/28) and Thursday (3/2) from Noon to 2 p.m. in the lobby. This is a great oppurtunity to network with your peers outside of Kent!
